Emilie, a native of Germany, came to Colorado from Michigan where she has been a United Methodist Pastor, an Instructor in German at a Community College, a Police officer, and a Police, Fire, Hospital, and Prison Chaplain for many years. Her love for the mountains and the outdoors drew her and her husband to the Wet Mountains in 1997 where they vacationed until their permanent move in 2005.
